Tech campus “probably three years”

An official of Tri-County Technical College cautioned a meeting in Seneca today to be patient awaiting the opening of the college’s Oconee County campus.  “Probably three years” is what Tammy Stout Fiske said during today’s Rotary club meeting.  Nevertheless, excitement abounds about the good that can come from a college campus in the county—a month and a half after the announcement that Tech, along with Oconee School District, and the Oconee Economic Alliance all will locate offices and services in a county workforce development center in the Industrial and Technology Park on highway 11.
