Taking issue with the narrative at Clemson

One meaning for the word narrative is presenting or understanding a situation or series of events that reflects and promotes a point of view or a set of values.  A woman in Clemson takes issues with the narrative she sees in a university town that grapples with where students live off-campus.  And Tanya Hyatt spoke last night to the city council.  She made clear she was not representing the city planning commission and her comments reflect her as an individual.  Hyatt came to the defense of the mayor and council and other Clemson officials who’ve approved plans for a controversial housing/commercial development off 123, Tiger Boulevard, bordered by Wall Street and Keowee Trail.
