On Wednesday, the Westminster Utilities Department will go to work to protect an exposed six-inch Tobor Road water line leading to Lake Hartwell. During the Christmas weekend frigid temperatures, a culvert disappeared there. The city and the county are coordinating the repairs.

Walgreens announces that, effective January 4, its Westminster location no longer offers pharmacy services. However, in a letter to pharmacy customers, Walgreens says the front-end store operations of its Westminster location remain open. Pharmacy customers are advised that their prescription records are available at all Walgreens, including the Sandifer Boulevard one near Seneca.
