T. Henry Waldrep

Westminster– T. Henry Waldrep, 79, devoted husband of former Brenda Joyce Hoxit, passed away on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Health Mary Black Hospital, he was a loving father and husband.

 

Henry was born in Oconee County and was the son of the late Rev. Dewey Waldrep and Stella Stewart Waldrep.  Henry was the owner and operator of Waldrep’s Upholstery. He was a  member of Cross Roads Baptist Church #2  Henry was a member and Past Master of the Westminster Masonic Lodge # 200, Past Grand Steward and Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Masonic Services Association, member of the Knight Templer Eye Foundation, Past Most Illustrious Grand Master of The Grand Council, KYGCH, member of Scottish & York Rites and & many Dependent Bodies, Past Chanceller Commander Knight of Pythias York Rites College. Henry was also a Past member of the Westminster Lions Club and the Westminster Gideons.

 

Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Joyce Hoxit; daughters, Melinda Fowler husband David of Westminster, Annette James (Randy Chrisley) of Westminster; sisters, Lillie Moore and Alice McAlister of Walhalla; three grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Megan Fowler and Cole James.

 

In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by brother, George Waldrep; sisters Louise Ramey, Eva Capps, Ruth Waldrep and Jenny Tyner.

 

A funeral service with will be held 3:30 pm, Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with full Masonic Rites. The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 26th, 2022.
