Streak of 300-plus new COVID cases in the state

Over six days, South Carolina exceeded in excess of 300 new daily confirmed cases of COVID-19.  In three of the days–Thursday through Saturday the cases surpassed 350.  The latest numbers of new Oconee County cases were seven on Thursday, three on Friday, and five on Saturday.  For the 24-hour count that ended at 11:59 Saturday night, there were two additional South Carolina deaths.  Of 6,305 test results received for those 24 hours, the positivity was 7.5%.
