Storm brings tropical moisture

Fred delivered tropical moisture today into South Carolina.  Much of it came from a tropical wave over the Bahamas.  Weather official Frank Strait says, for the first half of this week, get ready for a major soaking.  The primary area of concern is the Upstate, where a stationary over the weekend has already soaked the soils.  The rain between now and Tuesday night could range from four to seven inches.  The Walhalla area got a break when the sun came out around the noon hour today.  Not so lucky in the Bountyland Community where flooding was reported.  Strait sees three activity storms in the Atlantic, but Fred is the one to worry about now.
