Stash of heroin found in Newry, arrest made
A 34-year old Newry woman remained behind bars yesterday, following her arrest this week on drug trafficking charges. A multi-law enforcement agency investigation led to the arrest Tuesday of Sarah Frances Deill. According to the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, agents used search warrants and seized about 280 grams of heroin from a South Avenue home. They calculate that the heroin carried a street value of $55,800.
