Stanley Long
Seneca – Stanley Keith Long, 71, passed away Saturday, February 18th, 2023 at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Stanley was the son of the late William Ernest “Bob” Long and Othella Freeman Long. Stanley had previously worked at JP Stevens as a mechanic and was a member of Retreat Baptist Church, and a member of the Westminster Gideons.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, April Cannon (Ian) of Anderson; brother, Jerry Long (Alice) of Seneca; sister, Wanda McBride (Roger) of Fountain Inn; one grandchild, Willa Cannon.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023 at Retreat Baptist Church with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, at prior to service at Retreat Baptist Church. Westminster High School Classmates will serve as honorary escorts for Stanley’s service.
The family is their respective homes.
