Stanley Barnes

Seneca– Stanley Eugene Barnes, 74, husband of the late Samille Smith Moore Barnes, passed away Thursday, March 10^th, 2022 at his residence.

 

Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Stanley was the son of Louella Findley Barnes and the late Furman Barnes.  Stanley retired from Kendall, where he was a mechanic and he attended Seneca Church of God of Prophecy.  Stanley was an avid golfer, fisherman and he enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves.

 

 Stanley is survived by sons; Michael Moore (Cindy) of Seneca, William Moore of Seneca, daughter; Pansy Fassett of Westminster, brothers; Wayne Barnes of Walhalla, Allen Barnes of Seneca, Winfred Barnes of West Union; sisters, Nora Shook of Seneca, Jane Grover of Commerce, Mary Houston of West Union; ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 15^th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm, Monday, March 14^th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
