Standing out at the sheriff’s office

Three Oconee County Sheriff’s Office employees,
an Investigator from the Criminal Investigations Bureau, a Detention Deputy from the Oconee
County Detention Center, and a 911 Telecommunicator from the Sheriff’s Office E911/Communications Center, were honored recently at the 5th Annual Oconee County Public
Safety Appreciation Luncheon.
The Luncheon was held on Monday, September 25th at the Blue Electric Co-Op Community
Room. The Luncheon was sponsored by Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative.
Sergeant Adam Logan was honored as the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office “Officer of the Year.”
Sergeant Logan is a Violent Crimes Investigator who handles child sex crime and child sex
abuse material investigations.
Sergeant Amanda Davis was honored as the “Correctional Officer of the Year.” Sergeant Davis
is the supervisor of the Detention Deputies who work on the Bravo Shift at the Oconee County
Detention Center.
Jennifer Lyles, who is Senior Dispatcher on Delta Shift in the E-911/Communications Center,
was honored as the Oconee County “911 Telecommunicator of the Year.”
