Squabble leads to police tickets at state facility

Law enforcement records show one client at the state Vocational Rehabilitation Department near Seneca received police tickets as the result of an incident yesterday in the break room in which a purse was used to strike a second client in the jaw.  The tickets issued allege assault and battery third degree and malicious injury to personal property.  A cell phone was thrown onto concrete, breaking the screen.  An Oconee Sheriff’s deputy interviewed an eyewitness to what happened and said what happened was also caught on camera footage.
