Special Westminster meeting

Two items are on the agenda for a special meeting tomorrow of the Westminster City Council.  The mayor and council are to consider an emergency ordinance for their city permitting the use of electronic means for meetings, along with a state of emergency for the purpose of applying for assistance from “FEMA”–the Federal Emergency Management Agency.  A second item tomorrow calls for a report by the city attorney, Andrew Holliday, on the review by Upstate Forever on the “Chau Ram expansion request to remove trees.”  The meeting will be 5:30 pm in the training room at the fire department.  Social distancing practices will be followed at the meeting, which include limiting the number of participants.
