Special precautions for Monday’s trustees meeting

A limit on seating will be in effect for Monday night at the next meeting of Oconee school trustees.  The possibility that the public schools might attempt to require facial coverings in classrooms or re-institute virtual learning brought out a large crowd last month, and a number of the concerned have indicated they’ll return for the next meeting.  For Monday’s meeting, doors will open at 5:15 pm and audience seating inside the meeting room will be limited to 50 people and no standing will be allowed.  An overflow room, with an additional 40 seats, will be available.  Individuals may not reserve seats for others in either room.  A link will be available on the district school board webpage.  Once seats are full Monday, all others will be asked to follow the meeting by livestream.
