Something up with Oconee’s “Historic Courthouse”?

There may be something moving with the building that sits idle and in disrepair that served for about 50 years as the Oconee County Courthouse.  In recent years, the county has given two developers time to pursue their plan to convert the 1956 building into a boutique-style hotel.  On the agenda for next week’s Oconee County Council meeting is an economic development matter reserved for discussion in executive session.  It’s referred to as “Historic Courthouse.”
