Social media school threat under investigation

This announcement this morning from the Sheriff’s Office:  “Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Social Media Post
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a social media posting as possible threat. The threat was not directly against Oconee Christian Academy, the initial reporter, or any other Oconee County Schools. Oconee Christian Academy is currently operating under a “Code Yellow”, which means that instruction continues as usual inside the school, while all exterior entrances to the school are locked down. At this time, there is no danger to the facility, or to the public. Any and all threats of this nature are taken seriously and will be investigated. For this reason, there will be an increased police presence at Oconee Christian Academy until the investigation has concluded.”
