So far, no bacteriological contaminaton

Westminster announces that the first set of bacteriological water samples has confirmed there’s no bacteriological contamination. However, until the second test is processed, the boil water advisory remains in place for customers in the subdivisions and along side the roads previously announced in the vicinity of Welcome Church Road.  The city’s announcement reads:  “We have collected the second round of samples as required by DHEC, this morning and they will be processed tomorrow morning.  There is a new 24 hour incubation period for the samples.  We will notify our customers tomorrow morning once we review the samples.  At that time we will make the determination as to whether or not we can repeal the Boil Water Advisory.”
