Slena Rollins

Pendleton–Slena Beatrice Willis Rollins, 80, wife of the late Billy Frank Rollins, passed away on Friday, March 25^th, 2022 at her residence.

 

Born in Toccoa, Georgia, Slena was the daughter of the late Jefferson Tillman “JT” Willis and Ruby Edna Head Willis.  Slena retired from J.P. Stevens after 50 years of service and enjoyed camping, traveling, and doing word searches.

 

 Slena is survived by son Terry Rollins (Sherri) of Anderson, daughters, Shelia Schaffer (Mike) of Pendleton, Cathy Haney (Timothy) of Pendleton, Lisa Beard (Jabo) of Pendleton; brother, Nolan Willis of Anderson; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband and her parents, Slena was preceded in death by 9 siblings.

 

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
