Shop with a Hero–a rewarding experience

Oconee County law enforcement personnel led a select number of children on a shopping excursion today in the Seneca Wal-Mart. The kids were able to pick out toys and clothes that were on their Christmas wish lists. For the police and office staff personnel, there’s a great satisfaction in this annual adventure because it creates good relations with some of the youngest population in the county. One participant today was Walhalla Police Chief Sean Brinson. He said this afterward: “I had a blast with the kids who were assigned to me. They had such a positive attitude and even bought/wrapped presents for others then for themselves. This event was a blessing to able to be part of and I look forward to next year.”
