Sheriff’s Office gets a new public information officer

A Seneca woman who recently earned her Master’s degree will be go to work as the public voice for the Oconee Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw announces that his search to find a new public information officer has ended with the hiring of Kianna Holland, who transferred to Ohio State from Duke University to which she had been recruited as a standout basketball player from Seneca High School. As a young person, Crenshaw sees Holland bringing to the job skills in the field of social media that will increase the communications capabilities of his office. As it was for her predecessor, Jimmy Watt, Holland’s duties will include limited duties as a class three deputy sheriff.
