Sheriff’s Office promotions ceremony

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office held a promotions ceremony on March 30th to honor and recognize Detention Officers, Animal Control Officers, Uniform Patrol Deputy’s and a Civil Division Deputy who received promotions.  The Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize those deputies as well as deputies who have received promotions in the months that preceded our March 30th ceremony:

 

The following Correctional Officers are recognized for a promotion in the Detention Center:

 

Corrections Officer Allison Holbrooks – Promoted to Corporal – Delta Shift

 

Corrections Officer Neil Clement – Promoted to Sergeant – Alpha Shift

 

The following Animal Control Officers are recognized for a promotion:

 

Kristy Nabors – Promoted to Sergeant, which is the Coordinator for the Oconee County Animal Shelter

 

Jessica Venneri – Promoted to Vet Tech

 

The following Civil Division Deputy was recognized for a promotion:

 

Corporal Shawn Honea – Promoted to Sergeant

 

The following Uniform Patrol Bureau deputies were recognized for promotion:

 

Bravo Shift:

 

Benjamin Haley – Promoted to Master Patrol Deputy

 

Brandon Collins – Promoted to Corporal

 

Charlie Shift:

 

Levi Underwood – Promoted to Master Patrol Deputy

 

Brandon Justice – Promoted to Corporal

 

Delta Shift:

 

Aaron Alexander – Promoted to 1st Sergeant

 

David Carr – Promoted to Master Patrol Deputy

 

Also during the Promotions Ceremony, Uniform Patrol Bureau Deputy, and K-9 officer, P.J. Heaton was recognized with an award from the Law Enforcement Network for charges and arrests related to between 10 and 24 DUI’s in 2021.

 

Corporal Justin Stokes was recognized for his transfer from the Uniform Patrol Bureau to the Warrants Bureau.

 

The Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize Deputy Billy Lee for his promotion from Master Patrol Deputy to Corporal as he made a transfer to the P.A.C.E. (Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement) team.

 

The Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize Sgt. Daniel Williams for his transfer from Coordinator of the Oconee County Animal Shelter to Evidence Tech in the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
