Sheriff’s Office appoints new victim advocates
A 9-1-1 communicator and a records specialist have been named by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office as crime victim advocates. Deputy sheriffs Sonya Royal and Katrina Carter obtained their law enforcement certificates this week at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Royal and Carter fill positions created by recent retirements.
