Sewer Authority to ID top project priorities

At the request of a board member from Westminster, the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority will put on paper top project priorities—for both inside the grounds of the treatment plant as well as in the system of collector lines and pump stations outside.  Chris Eleazer, executive director, for him and his staff, accepted the request Wednesday and will go to work on top five priorities in time for the next meeting of the JRSA’s operations and planning committee.  At the committee meeting Wednesday, Eleazer led discussion of sewer problems on the 123 highway corridor between Seneca and Clemson.  Besides increasing traffic volumes, the four-lane highway is home to an increasing number of businesses that are putting a strain on old collector lines in the ground.  A potential solution is the replacement of the Seneca Creek pump station.
