Seven Oconee roads make next year’s SC improvement list

Seven Oconee County rural and municipal roads and streets have made the state’s next pavement improvement program.  The DOT Commission yesterday approved the 2025 pavement program by adding another $719 million funds. This is the 8th year of an accelerated program, and the commissioners’ action yesterday adds another 727 miles of roads.  Oconee motorists should see improvements to the following:  East North First Street; S. Oak Street; SC 183/the Pickens Highway; Davis Creek Road; N. Radio Station Road; ES 2nd Street, and the Nimmons Bridge Road.
