Seneca shootings leave two dead

Gunfire in a Seneca residential area has left two young men dead and police investigators working to determine why the fatal shots were fired.  However, interim police chief Casey Bowling believes the Tribble Street shootings were an isolated incident and there’s no danger to the public.  Coroner Karl Addis, so far, has identified the dead as a 20-year old Pickens man and a 17-year old Seneca man.  First word of the shootings was received by the police shortly before 7 last night.  Police officers rendered aid until EMS arrived.  According to Bowling, paramedics declared one man dead at the scene; the second died on the way to the hospital.  These deaths are an active police investigation.  Information on what may have happened should be relayed to the police at 864/885-2718.
