Seneca search finds upper torso and head

Searchers from the Seneca Fire Department found an upper torso and head near Beech Drive, just as yesterday’s search wound down. The coroner says those remains were in advanced state of decomposition, but are presumed to be associated with the remains discovered last week. Coroner Karl Addis has called for an autopsy Thursday, as a forensic investigation continues to identify the remains believed to be those of a female. Meantime, Police Chief John Covington requests any resident of Beech Drive or surrounding area to report anything of a suspicious nature that they may have found or seen. Beech Drive is a neighborhood of single family homes interspersed by a wooded area not far from Overbook Drive.
