Seneca Rotary Club Presents Ballenger Award Winner

(SENECA, SC) October 24, 2019 — The Seneca Rotary Club recently presented its prestigious Ballenger Award to Ron Miller and Ron Miller II, owners and operators of Little Pigs BBQ in Seneca.

The Ballenger Award recognizes businesses and business leaders for achieving the level of service advocated by Rotary. The award was named for G.W. Ballenger, the first president of the club and the owner/operator of a hardware store on Main Street in Downtown Seneca for many years.

The criteria for the award are as follows:
• The business must have been in existence for 10 or more years
• The business must be operated in the greater Seneca area
• The business must demonstrate and promote loyalty, high ethical standards and dedication in commerce to the local community
• The recipient should not be a member of Rotary, but should exemplify the Rotary 4 Way Test – Truth, Fairness, Goodwill and Friendship, and be Beneficial to all concerned.

Little Pigs BBQ has been in business in Seneca for over 27 years and has been recognized on competitive levels for the quality and taste of their BBQ. Little Pigs BBQ is a locally owned business that provides great support for the community. They help with several school functions by donating meals and support Collins Children’s Home and the Rotary Poker Run.

Seneca Rotary Club is proud to recognize such an outstanding business as Little Pigs BBQ.
