Seneca man dead, domestic issue suspected

A 25-year old Seneca man was killed in a traffic-related incident last night, but the coroner says it appears the death resulted from a domestic issue between him and his wife. Coroner Karl Addis said the victim was John Taylor Bright of 701 S. Townville Street. The first 911 call came at 9:09 pm. The coroner gave this account: “He was struck and run over at or near the driveway to his residence by a 2005 Dodge 3500 pickup truck; the truck was being operated by his wife. The body of Mr. Bright was dragged by the vehicle north on South Townville; west on South Seventh Street; and then south on South Fairplay Street. Mr. Bright was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple traumatic injuries.” Addis is referring reporters to the Seneca police for further details, including the identification of Bright’s widow.
