Seneca couple’s grandson climbing the minor leagues ladder
A farmhand for the San Diego Padres, Michael Gettys of Gainesville, Georgia continues to power the baseball for the Padres’ Triple A affiliate in El Paso, Texas. Yesterday Gettys hit his fifth home run in his fifth straight game. He’s the grandson of Wayne and Donna Morton of Seneca.
