Seneca burglary leads to arrests

A burglary investigation in Seneca has led the police to make two arrests and to charge the men with multiple offenses. The charges grew out of a home burglary between May 21 and 24 on Lakeview Drive. A gun cabinet was found open at the home. Authorities have identified the two men charged as Devin Ian McCrackin, 20 year old Walhalla resident; and Timothy Jason King, 30-year old Seneca resident. King and McCrackin are charged in warrants with the offenses of larceny, burglary, weapon possession, and financial identity fraud. Chief John Covington credits a collaborative effort by city officers and county deputies in making the arrests within days of the burglary.
