Second woman arrested in Fiskeaux case

The state police announced a new arrest this morning in the case of an Oconee man who is accused of firing shots at a county deputy last weekend at Mountain Rest.  The newest arrest is that of a woman who “SLED” alleges harbored Zachary Edwin Fiskeaux while he was sought and before being captured in Pickens County.  According to the state police, Jessica Morris, a Pickens County resident, is accused in the affidavit to her arrest warrant of “…on February 1, 2022, in the county of Pickens, one Jessica Danielle Morris did harbor and/or conceal, Zachary E. Fiskeaux, a person for whose arrest warrant or other process was issued, so as to prevent his discovery and arrested, after notice or knowledge of the fact of the issuance of such warrant.  This offense occurred within Pickens County SC.  Probable cause based upon:  1) SLED 39-22-116.”
