Second COVID-19 doses being sent today

A South Carolina DHEC official says the second COVID-19 doses for South Carolinians who’ve already received their first shot are on their way today.  DHEC’s Brannon Traxler says those second Pfizer doses are reserved for the 43,227 front-line health care workers who have already received their first shots.  Twenty-one days are required between the first and second shots.  In the meantime, Dr. Traxler appeals to all South Carolinians to continue to follow the basic protective measures to avoid catching the virus.  She also urges those who are out in the public to try to be tested at least once a month and get tested if they are feeling ill.
