Second arrest in Tuesday shooting near Shiloh Road

A 23-year old man near Seneca turned himself over to authorities yesterday afternoon and became the second person to be arrested in the investigation of burglary and gunfire Tuesday at a home near the Shiloh Road in the vicinity of the county airport.  The second arrest was that of Rodriquez Samarea Daquan Maddox of the W. Reedy Fork Road.  According to the sheriff’s office, Maddox is charged with petty larceny, first degree burglary, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.  The victim of Tuesday afternoon’s crime is said to have wounded one of the alleged intruders.  After hospital treatment for a gunshot wound, Chauncey Demetrius Williams of Anderson was arrested on identical charges.  The larceny charges accuse Maddox and Williams of stealing a pair of tennis shoes.
