School boss reassigned

The school year in Stephens County, Georgia was only a few days old when word came that the county superintendent was being re-assigned.  Quoting a news release on Friday, Toccoa Radio WNEG announced that Dr. Daniel Oldham was re-assigned from superintendent to the position of transitional coordinator.  The county board of education expressed appreciation to Oldham, but said it wants to go in a different direction.  A deputy superintendent will serve until the board names an interim superintendent.
