Scholarships for Media Arts students

A donation from the corporate sector will benefit Tri-County Tech students pursuing studies in the Media Arts Program.  AT-and-T’s $15 thousand donation will fund ten, $1,500 scholarships for low income and/or under-resourced students.  For many years, graduates in the field have worked behind the camera and microphone.  They still get jobs in traditional media and work at TV stations as cameramen and women, and as producers and announcers at radio stations.  They also work in hospitals, non-profits, churches, and businesses as videographers, graphic designers and freelance photographers.
