Sandra Whitman
Walhalla- Sandra Lee Towe Whitman, 73, wife of the late Jimmy Ray Whitman, passed away Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina Sandra was the daughter of the late John Towe and Janie Elizabeth James Towe. Sandra was a retired seamstress and a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. Sandra enjoyed quilting, word puzzles, and Clemson Football.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Donald A. Whitman (Maureen), Jimmy Ray Whitman Jr. (Kerston), Kristopher Lee Whitman (Megan) and Jason John Nelson Whitman (Jessica); brothers, Edward Towe and Jim Towe; sisters, Ann Sorrells and Shirley Swafford; sister-in-law, Joyce Towe; grandchildren, Eli, Taylor, Kayla, Hayden, Brooke, Johnny, Kane, Ethan, Adrieanna, Bailey, Shelbie, Gabriel, Greyson; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sandra is preceded in death by brothers, Mike Towe, Richard Towe, and Kenneth Towe.
Per Sandra’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
