Samille Barnes

Seneca– Samille Smith Moore Barnes, 83, of 275 Duncan Acres Drive, passed away Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 at her residence.

 

Born in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Virgil T. and Ruby Estelle Smith. Samille was retired from Kendall, where she worked in the packaging department for 33 years and was a member of Seneca Church of God of Prophecy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother.

 

Samille is survived by her loving husband, of 29 years, Stanley Eugene Barnes sons; Michael Moore (Cindy) of Seneca, William Moore of Seneca, daughter; Pansy Fassett of Westminster,  brothers; Frank Smith of Long Creek, Johnny Smith of Seneca, sisters; Cecile Smith-Heizer of Westminster, Beulah Buchanan of Westminster, Dorothy Duncan of Dorchester, South Carolina, Shirley Crooks of Westminster; ten grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, June 27th, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 9:30 am-10:30 am, Saturday, June 27th, at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.
