Rules for visits changed at W. Union facility

The visitation policy has changed at the Foothills assisted living facility near West Union. Kim Hunter is the new administrator there. She tells us: “We have limited our visitors to mainly immediate family, but anybody who comes in we are screening their temperature and asking them questions regarding their respiratory status. Have they been exposed to anybody sick? Have they been running a fever or have they traveled outside the country?” Visiting hours are restricted to 9 to 5. Overall, visitors to the Foothills facility are being discouraged and, again, are being limited to immediate family.
