Roger Beck

Walhalla – Roger Dale Beck, 66, husband of the late Margaret Blackwell Beck, passed away Wednesday, December 9^th, 2020, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.  

 

Born in Jackson County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Ernest Dale and Bessie Lucille Mathis Beck. Roger worked at Hi-Tech Plating as a machinist. Roger had a great passion for working on cars.

 

Roger is survived by a son, Chris Beck and wife Cindy; daughter, Dawn Simpson and husband Josh; step-son, Sonny Sheriff and wife Margaret; step-daughters, Miranda Underwood, and Melissa Tribble and husband Troy; and a sister, Maudie Wood.

 

In addition to his parents, and wife, Margaret Blackwell Beck, Roger is preceded in death by a son, John Ernest “Ernie” Beck.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 15^th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm -2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 15^th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
