Robert Wilson
Westminster – Robert Lee Wilson, 87, husband of Betty Oliver Wilson, passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at his residence.
Robert was born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Paul Wilson and Cecil O’Kelley Wilson. Robert was a United States Army Veteran and the former co-owner of Wilson’s Processing Company Inc. Robert had a great love for farming and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of 68 years, Robert is survived by a son, Gary Wilson and wife Jeanna of Westminster; daughter, Lenette McKnight and husband Rev. John of Seneca; four grandchildren, Austin McKnight and wife Paige, Andrew McKnight and wife Staci, Jacob Wilson and Zachary Wilson; six great-grandchildren, Annie McKnight, Judah McKnight, Violet McKnight, Quinn McKnight, Andi McKnight, and Walker McKnight.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack Wilson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 6th, 2022, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 9:30 – 10:45 am, at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.
