Richard Mathis

Long Creek – Richard Alan Mathis, 49, husband of Cynthia Cox Mathis, passed away Wednesday, April 20^th, 2022 at his residence.

 

Born in Pennsylvania, Richard was the son of the late James Louie Mathis and Jane Frances Robertson Mathis.  Richard was a brick mason and a farmer who thoroughly enjoyed gardening and farming. 

 

Richard is survived by his wife; sons, Richard McKinley Mathis (Ashley), James Alan Mathis (McKayla); daughter, Hannah Arrington (Jon); brothers, Daniel Mathis, Brian Mathis; and five grandchildren, Sophia, Addison, Jasmine, Jacob, and Jack.

 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
