Reward money posted to solve theft

Reward money has been increased in an effort to find out who took a truck and a lawnmower during burglary late last month in the Oconee County Keowee Community. Taken from an address on Dare Drive were a champagne-colored 1999 Toyota Tacoma, a Hustler zero-turn Fast Track riding mower, a “Wildgame” game camera model, and an Ultra Plus 32GB SanDisk SD card. According to the Sheriff’s Office, an Oconeean snapped a picture of stolen truck, seen in the Walhalla area. It appeared that two people were in the truck—a white male in his 30s and a thin white female with blonde pigtails. If you see the truck or have helpful information, call the Sheriff’s Office at 864/638-4111. An anonymous cash reward up to $1 thousand is offered for tips that lead to an arrest. There’s an additional reward offered privately of up to $5 thousand for information that leads to the recovery of the truck, along with positive identification and arrests of the suspects.
