Rev. Tommy Gibson
Seneca – Rev. Tommy Eugene Gibson, 77, husband of Linda Marie Aiken Gibson, passed away Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 at his residence.
Born in Canton, North Carolina, Tommy was the son of the late Frances Tom Gibson and Geneva Reynolds Stamey Gibson. Tommy was a self-employed painter and the pastor at New Covenant Church of Walhalla. Tommy enjoyed carving, fishing, and reading his bible.
Tommy is survived by his wife; sons, Ricky Earl Cummings (Debra), Johnny O’Brian Cummings, Eugene Allen Gibson (Melissa); daughters, Tammie Lynn Hart (Stephen), Melissa Cummings Underwood (David), Marie Michelle Morales, Geneva Edna Pitre (Mark); brothers, Dale Gibson, Wayne Gibson; sisters, Mary Carden, Nancy Youngblood, Sandy Gibson, Martha Gibson, Janice Massey, Becky Gibson, Rhonda Sanders; and a combined 28 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his son, Tommy Keith Gibson; and sisters, Joyce Price and Linda Gibson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 30th, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:45 am prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
