Reinhardt Brueggeman

Seneca– Reinhardt “Rein” Carl Brueggeman, 86, husband of Betty Brueggeman, passed away on Saturday, October 8^th, 2022 at Prisma Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

Rein was born in Flint, Michigan. After 33 years of teaching, Rein and Betty retired to Seneca in 1994. He was an avid antique automobile enthusiast and enjoyed many years touring with antique auto clubs. Rein also enjoyed woodworking and restoring antique automobiles.

 

Rein is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Betty Brueggeman; his daughter, Cheryl Curtis (Robert) of Greenville; his son, Jay Brueggeman (Marcy) of Grant Township, Michigan; a grandson, Chris Curtis (Marnisha) of Ypsilanti, Michigan; a brother, Ralph Brueggeman of Davenport, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 14^th, 2022 at Eternal Shepherd Lutheran Church in Seneca. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 13^th, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
