Ratcheting up protection from the virus

Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson warns of a tidal wave of Omicron is coming.  And institutions, such as Clemson University, are ratcheting up their measures to protect against COVID-19.  Clemson University says it will follow public health experts’ recommendation for the start of their 2022 spring semester.  Highlights of the university plan are pre-return tests for all, on-arrival tests for residential students, continued face coverings in class through January, and vaccine availability at statewide locations.
