Randall Forrest Dillard

Randall Forrest Dillard of 120 Autumnwood Lane, Walhalla, SC was welcomed home by Jesus on February 22, 2022.

Born December 30, 1937, to the late Forrest Ben Dillard and the late Nellie Hughes Dillard.  He grew up in Newry, SC, and raised five children with the love of his life, the late Ploma Elizabeth Capps.  He was a dolfer for Abney Mills in Newry and J.P. Stevens in Clemson.

Surviving are his sons; John R. Dillard and Jefferey W. Dillard of Seneca, SC, daughters; Nancy D. Morgan and Rhonda D. Dodd of Walhalla, son in law Kenny Ridley of Walhalla, SC and sisters; Barbara White of Townville and Mincy Stargel of Seneca, along with 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Awaiting him in Heaven are his parents, wife, daughter Karen D. Ridley, granddaughter Tiffany McAbee, sisters Jo Ann Dillard, Betty Chambers, and brother Billy “Snook” Dillard.

Randall loved fox hunting, the Atlanta Braves, and the Clemson Tigers.  He suffered a massive stroke in 1988. Though the stroke left him in a wheelchair, with speech impairment it didn’t stop him from loving the outdoors as you often saw him riding his dog in his wheelchair in Walhalla and listening to his hound’s fox hunting or cheering on his Clemson Tigers! His deep faith was often displayed as he was often quoting “God Heals”.

A grave side service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, 11:00 AM at First Baptist Memorial Cemetery, Westminster, SC.
