Rachel Lillie Moore
Walhalla– Rachel Lillie Erline Waldrep Moore, 82, wife of the late Rev. Marvin C. Moore passed away on Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at Lila Doyle Post-Acute.
Born in Westminster, South Carolina, Lillie was the daughter of the late George Dewey Waldrep and Stella Stewart Waldrep. Lillie had worked at Jantzen as a Seamstress and was a member of Rocky Fork Baptist Church.
Lillie is survived by her sons, Marvin Calvin Moore Jr (Teresa) of Westminster, James “Randy” Randall Moore and wife Yvonne of Seneca, Dewey Wayne Moore and wife Lisa of Seneca, and Terry Eugene Moore and wife Felicia of Walhalla; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sisters, Jenny Tyner, Louise Ramey, Eva Capps, Ruth Waldrep and Alice McAlister; brothers, Henry and George Waldrep.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Rocky Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 28th, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
