Rachel Dickson

 

Westminster – Rachel Pauline Blackwell Dickson, 95, wife of the late William “Bud” Eldridge Dickson, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Seneca Health and Rehab.

 

Born May 5^th, 1928, in Westminster, South Carolina, Rachel was the daughter of the late Furman and Annie Cobb Blackwell.  Rachel worked for many years as a waitress and was a Christian who enjoyed spending time in the word.

 

Rachel is survived by her daughter, Anne McMahan and her husband Lawrence Sr. of Westminster; a brother, Wayne Blackwell, and his wife, Doris of Westminster, and their son, Tommy; two grandchildren, Lane Canupp (Sherri) and Lawrence McMahan, Jr (Lindsay); and four great grandchildren, Ethan Canupp, Elisa Canupp, Lawrence McMahan III, and Lawson McMahan.

 

Rachel is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her five brothers, Horace Blackwell, Otis Blackwell, Marvin Blackwell, Tommy Blackwell, and Wallace Blackwell.

 

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 18^th, 2023 at First Baptist Memorial Park.
