Public indecency alleged at Georgia shopping center

A woman has been charged with public indecency after she was found wandering in the parking lot of The Shoppes at Banks Crossing in Georgia.  The Banks County Sheriff’s office spokesperson said deputies responded to a report Tuesday of a suspicious person who was walking into numerous businesses in the Banks Crossing area while exposing her body to the public. The female was described as having covered herself from head to toe in cigarette ashes and was quoted by a deputy sheriff as saying she was “protected by the Lord” and “under God’s light.”  EMS was requested to the scene to evaluate the woman, a North Carolina resident, due to concerns for her well being.
