Principal’s retirmement announcement not yet official

The principal at Walhalla High, Steve Garrett, announced his plans to retire to his staff, but he has yet to follow that announcement with a letter to the district.  Until then, says the district spokeswoman, the process to replace him won’t start.  Jennifer Dodd, spokeswoman, said, “We anticipate it will be early 2022 before we begin the hiring process for Walhalla High.”
