Preventing Alzheimer’s through cognitive training

Researchers are looking for ways to prevent dementia, such as Alzheimer’s.  The Clemson University’s Institute for Engaged Aging has embarked on a project by enlisting the help of volunteers 65 and older to take part in a research study to decide if computerized training exercises can reduce the risk of dementia.  An interview with Dr. Lesley Ross, director of the Institute for Engaged Aging, airs during the Sunday noon hour on 101.7/WGOG.
